I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington with a decade of clinical experience working in high acuity eating disorder treatment settings, as well as in my private practice (Mind Body Counseling, PLLC). My areas of specialization primarily focus on Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Grief, Eating Disorders, Transgender and LGBTQIA+ issues, Sex and Relationships, Adoption/Foster Care, and Psychedelic Integration. I am highly trained in various therapeutic approaches, but primarily work through a Somatic and Experiential therapy lens (in addition to RO-DBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, and Person Centered). Additionally, my professional experience includes teaching at the community, Undergraduate, and Masters level on various topics (i.e. trauma informed care, gender and sexual minority equity, eating disorder/body image issues, grief, workplace personality dynamics).

Other creative endeavors include working (semi) diligently on their memoir chronicling their experiences with grief, adoption, and eating disorder recovery/trauma, a regular practice of water color doodles, working as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice, and putting pen to paper as often as their heart allows.
